The Department of Geoinformatics - Z_GIS was invited to contribute to the 41st INCA International Conference hosted by Panjab University, Chandigarh, India from October 27 to 29, 2021.
Dr. Shahnawaz represented Z_GIS at this event and presented a plenary lecture on 'Remote Sensing Based Mapping and Monitoring of Atmospheric Pollution in India'. During the lecture, he showed spatial-temporal patterns of aerosols globally in general and in India specifically using TERRA-MODIS monthly datasets from 2001 to 2020. In addition, Dr. Shahnawaz also was honoured with chairing a technical session at this conference.
Z_GIS will again be welcome at the 42nd INCA International Conference in Dehradun, India next year!
