Implementing digital earth in education
Within the GI_Forum, the Learning with GI conference discusses initiatives to implement the digital earth vision in education with some 100 participants from more than 20 countries. A keynote by Joseph Kerski, more than 25 paper presentations and a panel discussion develop strategies for the use of GI at school and undergraduate levels. The conference is held in conjunction with the inaugural digital-earth.eu network meeting and welcomes guests and participants from the AGIT and GI_Forum conferences.
