The Salzburg University Centre for Geoinformatics again is teaming with ACA*GIScience at KSUCTA, Bishkek announcing the Third GIS-in-Central-Asia Conference for Aug 27-28. With support from the Eurasia-Pacific Uninet this year's focus will be on 'Environmental and Emergency Management', addressing a broad range of regional issues.
A Call for Papers has been issued to all researchers, educators and practitioners with a focus on Central Asia, all information is available from the conference website at www.aca-giscience.org/gisca09.
