UN-SPIDER Tech Advisory Mission Bhutan

Stefan Kienberger from Z_GIS was invited to participate in the Technical Advisory Mission (TAM) to Bhutan. The participation builds on the close relationships between Z_GIS and UN-SPIDER as well as on a history of collaborations with institutions in Bhutan. The mission was led by UN-SPIDER and took place between June 2 – 6, 2014. Key objectives were to identify the existing capacity to use space-based information, analysing the institutional framework to support disaster management through space-based information and identifying limitations.
