AGIT / GIForum Poster Competition

A series of excellent poster designs had been submitted for this year's conference and thus entered into the competition. Each registered conference participant could nominate three posters, resulting in these well deserved wins:

1st (83 votes) #24 "Lions, hunger and sea monsters - assessing children´s concepts of the world with map art" by Erik Jakobi and Inga Gryl (Universität Duisburg Essen, Institut für Sachunterricht)

3rd (60 votes) #38 "Volunteers on the move with mobile GIS" by Doris Payrer and Bernhard Klingseisen (State Heritage Office, Western Australia).
